blr in 30-06??

Mine is my favourite deer gun for Central Ontario. It's a short action, and that's the only version I would recommend.

I should have noted mine is the straight stock, as I personally don't like the ergonomics of the pistol grip model.

I do not like the long actions due to the very long lever throw.

Taking any BLR apart is not recommended unless you have a lot of patience for figuring out the lever gear timing.
