Blued Remington 870 wingmaster 20 inch barrels?

Hello,

I have a Wingmaster, barrel is 30 inches or something, it's way too big. It's a 1974, beautiful gun. I want something shorter though, 20 inches with a mag extension of 20 inches to match the barrel.

Only thing I can find is the parkerized matte finish? I noticed it's pretty hard to find 870 barrels in Canada or maybe I'm just bad at looking?
Any help would be very appreciated.

Not sure about the 20" bbl your seeking, but I recently asked a local dealer about ordering in a 26" Wingmaster bbl ribbed w/Rem Chokes. $510 before taxes was the quote and unknown time frame for delivery.

**ETA**

Remington is showing 26" as the shortest length of barrel currently in the Wingmaster line (12ga). There is 20"/21" bbl avail, but as you noted only in the matte Express finish. You could always have it stripped and re-blued.

Would that look silly a blued Wingmaster with parkerized barrel and mag extension 20in/20in?
I'm considering this option, selling a Wingmaster made in 1974 that brought me so many good hunts is kinda hard to do, it's my first hunting shotgun too. And Wingmasters are top of the notch shotguns. What do you think? Would that look weird?
 
Unless someone else chimes in w/a pic, I should have my 21" Turkey bbl by the weekend. I can post a pic then if you like?

I'm considering cutting it too, I'd need to make threads in it, would a regular tap wrench and tap bits work? Like, the casual kit they sell at Canadian Tire? (For inserting chokes)
 
Lol no. That wouldn't work. Chokes are a very fine and specific thread. You need bore guides and bushing to thread them properly.
 
Try a wanted to buy in the EE.
I bought a 20 inch blued barrel with rifle sights a few years ago for around $150......they are out there.
