I had a very tatty S&W antique revolver that just recently came back from Gunco. I did all the prep work, which was a royal PITA but being retired and having the skills, I went for it. Doing so dropped the cost from $600. to $70. Bear in mind, Jason usually won't fire up the hot blue tank for one piece so you may have to wait until he has a few reblue jobs. Here's before and after pics of my pistol. Jason does supremely nice work.
