How do you remove the blueing from an old rifle.

Birchwood casey has a blue and rust removal product. Its available at most gun stores

Most any rust remover like the PermaTex product or Navel (sp?) Jelly removes it like right now....

Vinegar - removes rust too, if you clean off all grease and oil first and then soak the part in the vinegar for a few days. Ultrasonic cleaner afterward removes everything out of the pits and cracks and crevices.
