Blueprinting my Rem700 action

Im in need of some help.
Im in Victoria, BC looking for a gunsmith. Im looking to have my R700 trued/blueprinted and a new barrel spun on. I don't need a local smith, I willing to send my gun out. Im looking for someone with a solid reputation that single point cuts, and is able to aquire Krieger/Broughton/Hart barrels or something of that quality, wait time is not critical. I'll wait. I've put almost 3000 rounds through my rifle learning to improve my personal accuracy and develop the art of precision handloading and now Im ready to see what my rifle and I are capable of.

I sent my 700 varmint rifle to Gaillard to get the same done and am very happy with his work.I got him to install one of his own barrels.Very nice and accurate . .22-.250

X2 on guntech on here , he's done 98% of my smith work and I've never been less then 100% satisfied , he does great work and a quick turn around time as he doesn't take on more work then he has time for

But sounds so much cooler than - measure action , chuck barrel in lathe, dial spin dial spin dial some more , face, turn to major thread dia, cut threads , chamber , check , adjust , measure some more , torque barrel onto action

Huh?

There's also Mike McPhee who makes his own barrels and smiths your way. Top shelf also.
Dennis [Guntech] is also highly recommended. No need to come east unless you want to.

X6 on Dennis for anything involving a 700 action and accuracy, as well as a real properly trained gunsmith he is also an old bench shooter, there is very little he doesn't know about building an accurate rifle on a 700 action. Also as stated he is in Brentwood Bay, which can't be too far from you.

Thanks for the (x6) references for Dennis. I'll get in touch with him and see what the possibilities are for turning my stock 308 r700 into the beast I see in my dreams.
I'm looking for a bench/tactical style rifle with better than 1moa accuracy in the 2-600 yard range, and maybe a little steel ringing longer range. I think I'll need a heavier contour 24-26" barrel for this so now I better pull out the wallet and get shopping.

Anyone will benefit from a great shooting rifle.

Hard to shoot small if the rifle is not up to the task.

guntech does very nice work.

If he can't help, let me know. I have Kriegers on order so this will reduce wait time a bunch.

If he can smith and you just need a barrel, let me know too. All sorts of goodies available or coming in.
