Bluing bolt?

I have a 98 Mauser, I bought a Timney Low Profile Safety for it, the safety is blued but the bolt is not. Would there be any trouble bluing all or part of the bolt or would it be better to remove the bluing on the safety?

It's all a matter of taste. Most Mauser bolts I've seen have the safety/shroud/cocking piece/bolt handle blued while the body of the bolt is left bright.

I recently blued a rifle where I blued all the metal including the entire bolt. It looks great.
