I was gifted an Irish blunderbuss this morning marked Kilpatrick on the lock. Is anyone familiar with this maker? ( made a correction on the name, needed a magnifying glass to see it clearly) Im thinking this is perhaps the father of D.Kilpatrick a gunmaker in Belfast in the 1840s This came out of Belfast and was hanging over the mantle in the family’s home for two centuries. If anyone has information on the maker I’d appreciate it. I’m not familiar with Irish makers. Only English.
