Bm59 MAGAZINE hunt

Interesting. Where did you get parts?

Even when parts were more plentiful in the US the mags were hard to come by.

I’d like to make hybrid tanker style rifle. En bloc clips with BM59 gas system and 18.5” barrel. All I have so far is an op rod.

Didn't realize looking for non prohibited parts for a non prohibited build was against the law.

the world is full of people eager to tell others what they should and should not do, what they can and can not do....... even if they are wrong and know nothing about what they commented on.
I think social media calls these people Karens.

Sometimes you're just so full of yourself.

I was under the impression that he was looking for mags, for a BM59 build.

not full of myself at all, just pointing out that there are far too many "gunnies" eager to "jump the gun" and make posts that are at the end of the day.... nonsensical attacks on fellow gunnies who are just trying to go about their business.

How many times have we seen the parts from prohibitted firearms , repurposed for use in custom firearms and semi auto only restricted and non restricted firearms...... tens of thousands of times..... at least.

so maybe take a look at yourself in the mirror before you go off telling me I am full of myself LOL
I don't mind your internet persona in general but in this thread..... I'll stick to the words of my posts.

Try ###### Armoury. I think I just saw some.

Edit: I see the company name got auto ‘hidden’ I think.
Don’t know why. Maybe a paid sponsor thing but I haven’t a clue.
Anyways, first word starts with A….

Importing BM59 magazines into Canada from the United States of America may run into problems with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Defense articles can be broken down into two categories: (a) physical items (often referred to as "commodities") and (b) technical data. The ITAR contain a list of defense articles called the US Munitions List ("USML"), which can be found at 22 CFR §121.1 . BM59 magazines would be covered by Category I paragraph (h).
