Congrats to Brad (Beretta 687, 30", Kolar tubes, Challenger ammo) on his great showing at the Quebec Open. He won HOA with a 398, HAA with a 496, 12 gauge with a 100, .410 Runner Up with a 100:dancingbanana:, AA1 in Doubles with a 98, He also Wayne Gretzkied (99) in the 20 and 28 gauges for class honours.
What a weekend. it's great to shoot on a squad with one of the guys that not only works his as* off on his shooting, but also behind the scenes is the hardest working gut (I mean guy) North West of Plattsburgh.
Not only did Brad run the hundred in the .410 (his first in the .410 BTW) but Mike Hogan (Beretta 687EELL, 28", Briley tubes, Challenger ammo) from the Ottawa Skeet Club also recorded his first 100 in the .410 on the same squad. That matches Ottawa Club member John Loveday's hundred in the .410 at the '97 Ontario Open with the same Beretta Brad is now shooting.
We got to blow their hats off at the conclusion of our event.
Rain and wind couldn't stop these guys, the background at Hungry Bay was perfect with the grey skies and shooting over farm fields.
Mario and Max put on a great shoot with a great meal Saturday night. Not a shoot to miss in '07.

Brad....I suspect you're "lurking" here somewhere. :)

Great shooting bud. :beerchug: Big fat cheque coming from this one huh? ;)

You sure you still want a new Kreighoff? Looks like you got that Beretta pretty fine tuned lately.

Well done.

Thank you all for the kind words. The big cheezy grin from the 100 in the .410 still hasn't melted away.

What mwmham didn't mention is that he had his first 100 in the 12ga on the weekend (yet another Beretta).

I actually now own a Krieghoff and have some difficult choices to make.... It will be pretty hard to put the Beretta down now.

Cheers,
Brad.

Tell us about the new K-gun. And of course post some pics.;)

Brad:

Congratulations on a fine shoot !

See how many straights you can run with the K-Gun in the next two months.
You'll know what to do ! I like the guns, but found I had to work too hard to shoot well with them.
