Hello!

This is precision rifle related as well as events and gatherings but thought I might get more response here...

I've had my 50 for a little while, a buddy just got his recently, we were thinking it would be nice to have a group of like minded local people who share our love of the BMG to have a little group where we can get together and have a shooting day, or a pub day, or a BBQ at one of our houses, something on going that's social and fun.

Just thought that since the 50 is so cost prohibitive to a lot of people it would be nice to have a local group where everyone has similar toys.

If you're interested in something like this, reply here or PM me and I'll see about setting something up.

*Edit*
So we have said anything .338LM and up is welcome and we thought Fraser Valley Heavy Hitters made an appropriate name for the group.

I'd be interested in spots that we can shoot our 50BMG rifles at. Our informal 50BBMG non range day shoot would also be good. I just need to get the mount for my scope and my 50will be ready to go.

Well we can rotate and find new spots, and share existing spots

Look forward to meeting you

I'm in, but you already knew that. ;)

Yeah yeah...

Some days I wish I didn't know you ... LoL

I don't have a .50 hell I can barely afford to shoot my .308 ha ha, but I did wanna start up kind of a group similar to this as well. Something akin to long range shooters of Utah. There facebook and youtube channels seem like they do some pretty cool stuff down at their range/club.

Has there been any movement on this? Would you guys be interested in opening this up to other long range shooters or are you looking to keep it in the .50 family? It's cool if you are. I know there is the BCRA but I was thinking of a private group that doesn't really require a membership fee just a group of people to get together to shoot long range. Thinking of BC tactical Marksmen for a group name. But this is just me tossing out ideas.

So far there's four of us, trying to put something together with schedules in a group always has it's hiccups.

At this point I think we're trying to keep it to 50's, then we can share more about them specifically, ammo, load data, projectiles, etc...

It would be nice to have long range group as well, kinda what I was thinking but I was a little more focused on the 50 as it's such a beast.

Looking forward to a 50BMG meet and greet session
MC2 told me by phone that we may be meeting on Sunday.
I'll keep the day clear.

Join Lower Mainland Precision Rifle Group on facebook!

I wanted to get a group of guys together to do this exact thing. Don't have a .50 but would like to go out for a shoot with you guys! I think my rifle could keep up:p

Well that was a good meet and greet and was nice meeting everyone. Shooting date is set and I'm really looking forward to shaking the trees on the mountains.

Hopefully more will join us in the future.

Alright, had a good first meet of the 50 shooters ... Had a discussion about the "Fraser Valley Heavy Hitters" and we won't be too snobby and say anything .338LM or more powerful will work.

Had a turn out of 5, tentative range day for the 24th, anyone else interested in joining us?
