Bob Jury Custom Barrels

I am not into the AR thing but have three of his barrels - two are built one waiting for more work (for me to pay for another build). Stand up guy that make great barrels. I like buying local if possible and in this case not only is it possible but may be better than the competition in a lot of areas. Last I talked to Bob he was quoting 8 - 10 weeks, I waiting a lot longer than that for a Benchmark. Competitively priced too.

We sell Krieger, Bartlein and Pac-Nor but hear good thinks about Bob. Ted Gaillard also makes great barrels. We are fortunate to receive feedback from many customers from all shooting disciplines and are pleased to pass on what we hear.

Regards,

Peter

Bob's decision to get into AR's was interesting. I was talking to him when he was contemplating and playing around with it. Glad he decided to move in that direction. Really helps out with local shooters.

If I have to replace my AR barrel, it'll be a Jury.

I have a 308 heavy contour SS waiting to go on my "precision" gun as well.

Stand up guy to shoot with. Knows his shat and great guy to BS about guns with.

Let us know how it shoots.

I have one of Bob's barrels for a 303 Ross project.

He's super easy to deal with, and the wait time was less then anything else I found. He also contoured and polished the thing for me, as I'm unable to do that myself. I'm just left to thread it, but I haven't done that yet.

I'm not building a precision rifle, rather saving an old sporter. I'm sure the barrel will shoot better than I can with the iron sights, I'm just glad I was able to get a barrel made locally!
