BOB Munden passed away....

I had the pleasure of watching Bob Munden twice at US CAS events and an IPSC match. What he could do with a single action revolver beggared description. On one occasion, his wife also performed and she was as good if not better than him in some things.
I remember one stunt where he busted three balloons with a little baking powder or flour in them for effect. To our ears, it sounded like one continuous roar, albeit a very short one. Video showed the separate shots on the targets which had one yard between them at 10-15 yds.
He offered to 'tune' my Ruger Vaquero and I was tempted until he told me that it was going to cost more than I paid for the gun!

Bob tuned 2 of my Colts at different matches in the States. Because of the hassle shipping acrosss the border he would work on his Canadian customers Colts at big matches. You soon find out if you are a safe shooter when you go from a 7-8 lb trigger pull to a smooth tuned gun with a trigger pull of less than 1 lb. I have seen Bob shoot more than once, he was an awesome shooter and real gentleman. He will be missed by all the shooting community. My condolances to his wife Becky.
