I have a question about a Body Armor Fragmentation Vest. It is a dark green vest and quite heavy.
The front of the vest has two large front pockets, and the front has a two inch double velcro closure.

At the bottom of the vest are metal hooks on each side, pointing down. Probaby to keep a belt from sliding up the vest.

The chest size: 37-40
Length: Regular
Size: Medium
NSN: 8470-21-899-2325
Manufacturer: SNC DEFENCE PRODUCTS LTD.

What I would like to know is what period is this vest used?

I would like to put it on a maniquin and have the proper uniform and webbing to display with it.

Are they worth anything?

Not sure, all vests are heavy. Could be a Vietnam era frag vest or a modern one, a picture would help. SNC manufacture suggests a Canadian origin though.

The Gen 4 cadpat ones are used in Agfghanistan, gen 3 solid green ones are temp issued to visitors in afghanistan, and are still used in other deployments
