First time I've seen one of those. Looks like it fires a 7.62x54R round or .303 Brit from that mag.

I'm wondering if it was completely manufactured like that, or if it's a modified ak? It makes sense to be a mod because why would you leave the gas return tube, but it looks like it chambers a huge round...

So perplexed... :s

the ak bolt carrier is actually quite long for the size of the round.. but that does look like it fires something a lil extra

The best part IF we can get those here is No restriction on mag cap because of bolt action! We can only cross our fingers tho.

That's actually kind of cool. I'd still like one of the AR-pattern bolt actions (ie. Tubb 2000) more, though.

There used to be plenty of these in Pakistan's tribal areas. I thing it was somthing to do with gun regulations, bolt action was not regulated by goverment and semi-auto or full auto ak was. The one I had seen were just regular AK 47 or AKM with top cover removed and bolt action instaled in place of regular auto bolt assembly all were 7.62x39
It is still AK variant under our gun laws

it could be done here with one of the sa. 58 variants, but the mag would still be limited to 5 shots, unless it was manufactured separately from the 58 mags. still interesting though...
