I was shopping for a magazine fed.22lr bolt action takedown rifle and to my surprise, this is the only one I could find?

At over $1000 USD, seems pricey. Any other options for a bolt action takedown that I may have missed?

Not interested in semi-autos as I already have a few Marlin Papoose.

I'm actually surprised you found one!
I thought Owyhee was your to reaction the price but it's actually well named.... :)

Would this model have decent bolt gun accuracy, given that it’s a take down? I know nothing about take downs but I’ve read complaints about semi auto take downs being inconsistent.
I would seriously consider this rifle for my next 22.

Well if you decide on one, it'll take at least a year to get it here. I put in an order with Wanstalls about 11 months ago and Tacsol still can't deliver the product. Super long lead time makes me rethink my life and why I ordered this sooooooo long ago.

Well if you are looking for a good .22 takedown rifle then the one that I would consider to be the best along with many, many others would be the WINCHESTER 62/62a pump. Just incredible fun to shoot, reliable and parts are easy to find if needed. plus they will do nothing but GO UP in value. Check out the many you tube video's on them.

They are fun for sure but mostly limited to iron sights only.

Can you tell me where I can easily find a takedown thumb screw for a 62 pump?
