I Have compared them with others and in my opinion are better than the yellow or orenge ones you see . Why do you need one ???????? Eliminates the metal to metal contact ,improve lock time and stops the loud "Clank" noise when the bolt slams .

pop pin out, pop buffer in.

By far the simplest thing you can do.

emmab, big difference.....no more clank when the bolt slams back, it prevents metal to metal contact as well..

bolt buffer and vq target hammer are the cheapest and fastes way to take your 10/22 to the next level. just did it to mine and WOW :shock: i can actually hit things (on puprose now!)
