I am trying to install a scope on a mosin with a cantilever mount and the bent bolt wont clear it by around 1mm.
I tried with a bushnell legend 3-9 and a leupold vx3 3.5-10 and get the same result. My ideas are as follow.
A) try with a vx3i as the eyepiece seems a tad smaller.
B) add a bit of electrical tape on the scope rings to try and elevate the scope a bit to have the bolt clear the eyepiece.
Any other ideas or comments ?
