I would say no muzzle brake at all. Muzzle brake on a SKS are pretty much useless. I have the military brake on my 858, lessen the muzzle climb and the rifle was made to have it but otherwise, i wouldn't have bothered to put a brake on. Just my opinion.

Makes your bayonet unusable, adds weight to the tip of an already front heavy rifle, and solves a problem the SKS doesn't have. Have you ever fired 5 rounds fast out of one? Go with either type, people will laugh at you just as hard no matter what.
