Bolt Pitting?

Recently received a Swedish Mauser that has a good amount of dark-ish areas on the bolt body with stippled appearance. Just wondering if this is pitting and if it will affect the function and safety of the rifle? (or just cosmetic?). Rest of the rifle looks good, only the bolt is giving me some concern.

From the pics it is cosmetic only, not a safety or function issue.

X2 It looks like it's just cosmetic.

Does the serial # on the bolt match the serial of the receiver? Since it's pitted and the rest of the rifle doesn't appear to be so; I'm betting it's mismatched.

Thanks Lodi and Adrian. Yes the bolt / receiver are mismatched. Previous owner says it shot fine but I'll probably take it to a gunsmith and have it checked just to be sure.
