Bolt size for scope mount on the side of M305 reciver ?

Just tried to put the AIM mount on my M305. Front mounting bolt seems too small, barely catches the tread.

Any body know the bolt size on the side of that reciver?

Seems like M5.5x0.8mm to me, but i never seen a bolt or screw in that size, can't even image find a grade 10 bolt in that spec.

looks like 100-200 bucks scope mount is the right way to go. ohh, I was too cheap~~~~

If you are talking about the Aim Sport mount, I recently installed one on my Norc with no problems. I suspect it is a problem with the hole drilled in your receiver.

Do you know anyone with another M305?

Try your mount on their receiver.

yes, it is an aim sport mount.
I don't really know anybody else in town may have m305.

maybe tap the hole to m6x1.25 will be a better idea? it`s easier to find high grade bolt in that size, at least.
