Bolt slames closed half the time when I insert barrel on PC carbine

I checked out a buddies's rifle yesterday. He told me the bolt does not slam forward with barrel install. We played around with it a little and found that when using a 'normal' amount of twisting force to install the barrel, the bolt stays locked back. If we gave it a good slam-twist, the bolt did go forward. Doesn't appear to be a design flaw. I've done the same thing when I owned a CZ Shadow. Slide locked back, slam home a full mag and the slide would go forward.

I didn't know that. I'd like some others to chime in and see if everyones rifle is like that or if it's a weak/faulty bolt lock on ours

It doesn't happen on mine. I am pretty gentle when I takedown the carbine and I am trying not to do so unless necessary as I think that takedowns can loosen over time if they are taken down often and with force.

I hold down the bolt hold button with my right index finger while twisting the halves together. Seems to hold the bolt back fine.

Mine does it too. Even if I'm gentle with it.

I could be wrong, but I think it may have actually caused damage to mine. I think the bolt face smacking against the barrel extension might have damaged the bolt face retaining pins. The last time I disassembled mine for cleaning, the one pin looked a bit banged up and I wasn't even able to get the other one out.
