Bolt Slug Guns

Hey

Looking info and expereinces with all bolt slug guns. What slugs work best in your gun.

I have a browning A-bolt and love it shoots great and is beautiful to look at.

But i don't know anybody shooting the Marlin or Savage slug guns..

What kind of slugs are you using in your Browning A-Bolt Slug-gun?
These bolt action sluggers were built with a 22 inch barrel and used a 1:32 Rate of Twist. Which were made for the 1400-1500 fps sabot slugs of the day. I do not know how they will shoot the new 1900 fps offerings, but I do know that these slugs perform better in 1:28 twist barrels that are 24 inches long.

i've tried the Witfields and Wins and they perform similar good but not as i would have liked for fast sabots. 3" groups at 100 yards.

Cheap Wins slugs i can shoot practically through one single hole but i really hoped for something flatter..

As for finding another one i don't know, but this one the gun gods were with me i got it on this site two years ago good price and never fired in the box!!!!!!

Anyone selling a used bolt slug gun i wouldn't mind having another as i'm east of ottawa also...
