I am attaching a Lee Classic cast iron press to my reloading bench. I would like to ask for some recommendations for bolts, washers etc. The bench top support is 1" particle board and 3/4" plywood. I am reloading 30-06, 6.5CM and 30-30.

Thanks.

I used 5/16" - 18NC bolts with wing nuts so I can take it on and off the bench in a minute when its in my way or not being used.

I bolt the press to a 2X6 and the clamp the whole assembly to the table you can move it to where you like it without drilling the table.

I use blind nuts in the holes on the under side of the bench top so I don’t have to fumble with attaching nuts under the table.
My press is mounted to the bench only when I reload and removed to clear the bench for other uses.

I used the lee mounting plate, money well spent.... https://leeprecision.com/cgi-data/instruct/90251.pdf
I just started using this as I already have two Loadmasters, a Classic Turret and a Rockchucker mounted on my workbench so I didn't have any more room when I bought a new Auto Breech Lock Pro. Now I can literally switch the Auto Breech Lock Pro with one of the Loadmasters in less than a minute and it mounts very solidly. Here's a tip: forget the wooden block mounts and just go with the steel accessory plate. It's already pre-drilled for all the common Lee presses and you could drill extra holes for other brands.
