Probably right. A lot of people died in British concentration camps.

Think this was true of a lot of wars eh?

In his really good novel 'The Covenant,' which is about South Africa, James Mitchener had the British using 'dum-dum bullets' during the Boer War and apologising because they were originally intended for use against the tribes in Afghanistan. That's all I know about it, except that while Mitchener had a certain fondness for the Boers, he was no hate monger.
