Books about ammunition

Hi there

Can anyone recommend to me some books about the manufacture, storage, and technical details of ammunition?

I am not looking for materials in regards to handloading but rather about the above.

Also if there were books specifically about 9mm, 5.56, 7.62x39 and 7.62x51 that would be great

You can try Cartridges of the World. A lot of information on many different cartridges. Some of the older reloading manuals have sections on how they make powder. COW printed about every second year.

"Hatcher's Notebook" still very relevant and readable

Hatchers Notebook is an extremely interesting and informative book. Be aware that the original book was written some time ago and the method of writing is somewhat different than a lot of younger people are familiar with. In spite of that caveat, it is easy to get lost in the significant amount of info on guns and ammo and how even older info can be very relevant today. Phil.

The Ammo Encyclopedia by Blue Book Publications has been a good resource.
