I'm a beginner and would like to learn how to varmint hunt (general knowledge & skill, proper firearms/ammunition)

Are there any books/ online resources that can help me wrap my head around this subject? If so, what are your recommendations for a person who is just starting out?

depends on what is classified as a "varmint". here i NB a varmint hunting permit is good for crows, coyotes, and cormorant. all very different.
