My old boy Chip can't hunt anymore and Bug injured his leg and shoulder and is out for at least another week so Boone and I went off ahunting. He had 12 nice points during the short day ( I had to get back for wifey's birthday supper) but we still got a couple of roosters. He retreived one from the water but it started pecking him so jumped on it in 6 inches of water and by the time I got there it was dead. Good work for a 81/2 month pup.
