Looking at the custom Lucas Bore Guides for several of my rifles. Any pro's or con's. What bore guides do you use for barrel cleaning?

They are excellent
bore guides as is the TK NOLLAN which is pricey. Lucas is NOT shipping out of the US and a fellow who I knows carries them will not ship out. Not sure why as they are not a restricted item. The only reason I see is the Licensing requirement for them to sell out of the US. If they are not licensed they risk prosecution.

I take a brass that has been fired in that chamber, have it drilled out on a lathe at the rim for a piece of tubing, then rough up the tubing and inside of the case. I then expoxy the tubing into the case to the neck of the case. After that sets up I cut the neck off the case. I have a "spud" that centers the tube at the back of the action. Works great.....Ken
