I used to have a light that I could drop down the bore of my muzzle loaders and check the bore. It's stopped working so I replaced the batteries but still no go. I think I purchased it sometime in the early 1980's so it's likely simply given up the ghost. Does anyone know where I can purchase a new light? I found this one extremely handy when looking at buying a used gun or checking the bore in the guns I have.
Thanks Chuck

I ordered a Traditions brass bore light off of ebay 3 weeks ago. I also picked up a cheap little light at Princess Auto a couple of weeks ago, I think it was $4.50. It had a short, rubber tail on it for wrapping around something to hold it in place. I just cut the rubber tail off. Like the Traditions light, it fits bores 50 caliber and up.

Archery shop-they usually have little insert aluminum lights that fit the nock end of the arrow and are lit with the force of launching. No replacement battery but I believe they are about 3.50 each and good for many uses before throw-away.
