Bore liner for 1892?

I have a Win. 1892 in 25-20, with a challenging bore, actually, the farm house chimney is in better shape. I hate to alter the external appearance and wonder if there are any gunsmiths in Canada that can re-line the bore?

Can it be done with centre fire cartridges?

It can be done with centerfire cartridges, brownells sells the 25 cal liners and the drill bits. The bore is drilled out and the liner epoxied in. I don't know anyone in Canada that does it though.

you could also have the original rebored to 32-20. ive done that several times in the past with burnt out 25-20s

I am kinda in the same boat. i have 3 25-20s but they are good, My problem is a 38-55 rifle. I have contacted several gunsmiths across our provinces and at a pricetag of over $600 for either a rebore or a reline, (just about the same thing)..i decided to keep the gun as is and search for a better gun or an original barrel.
