For months now I have been wanting to convert my rifle into Laz shorty, alas have been unable to track down a Butler Creek folding stock as required.Then I read a thread about altering a original style stock into a Ar15 style.

Sorry folks. try to share with you later with some expert assistance(12 yr old son). Fricken computers are supposed to be intuative!. Ya right!
 
Butler Creek stocks are hard to find in Canada.
I know Island Outfitters in Victoria had a couple last time I stopped by.

You can use the BC folding rem 870 istock nstead of the Win stock for the conversion ... especially if you are working with a GI Fibeglass stock, which takes a lot more epoxy to shape the two together.

If you are working with a wood stock, the WIN stock is thicker, and requires less wood removal at the joint.
