Bored and thinking of a new toy ... T3 Tac with a 20" barrel. Range reports anyone?

So I'm thinking of a new toy and since I both love Tikka and bolt actions I'm thinking of the T3 Tac in .223 with a 20" barrel. Why 20"? Because I want something light and portable. For the price I'm a little torn over getting a second T3 Sporter but its a bit heavier.

Anyone out there with some range reports or pics?

Get the Varmint model and cut the barrel down. Unless of course you see the value in spending upwards of $800 more to achieve the same thing with the Tac.

They use to have the Super Varmint with the adjustable stock but yeah maybe you're right ... Basic varmint with a Manners stock and cut down barrel.

There is really no reason to get the tactical model. a rail, cheekpiece, and phosphate finish does not add up to $800. 2bad4u2 already mentioned your first option another is to hunt down a CTR scout model (possibly a waste of time but I hear some are still on the shelves in the US). Range Reports? lol if you have a tikka already you know exactly what your gonna get.

I've got a T3 action with a Shillen barrel in .223 and I have a T3 Sporter in .308, all very accurate. Just wondering what people are getting out of the 20" barrels.
