That'll ruin your day. Hope the shooter was ok. I have seen a 30mm HE barrel after a crew left a bore brush end in the barrel. Same splicing of the barrel occurred. Was impressive to see afterwards. Probably #### the crew up though haha.

Got this in an email today.

Sighting in your expensive new deer rifle:

2. Quality, high-powered scope.........................$550.00
3. Bore sighting device..........................$140.00
4. Forgetting to remove the bore sighting device prior to actually firing the rifle...............Priceless!

Hopefully he ain't trying to put it back in the case...

hopefully there were no injuries ... I was out goose hunting about 12 years ago with a about 6 people, we were split up in groups of two, and one guy in another group split the end of his barrel adn had to go to the hospital for stickes to his face.

Turned out he was using shells not meant for his gun!!

All I can say is that would scare the #### out of me.
