Craig Douglas [A.C. Douglas Gunsmithing] in Saskatoon will probably do as well. I went a different way, had barrel shortened & threaded for extended choke tubes. My gun is a Rem 870 w/30" vent rib barrel. Barrel was cut down to 25" (came right to a rib support). The extended choke tube brought full length to 26 1/8". Craig did the work & I'm very happy with it. Coincidentally, an extended mag tube to allow for total 9 + 1rnds comes right to the end of the barrel. Lots of fun when you're playing.

good luck getting lyle to do anything i've had a p-17 project there for 19 months!!!!!!!! last summer i'd had enough and got his cell # from somebody, left messages to call me back and no reply. i gave him a $200.00 deposit 0n the stock to boot.i'd mentioned to him i had several projects to spend my money on and this was the first i'd give him a try on... go figure. if it was an f class rig i'm sure it would have been done in 3 months tops. i know several buddies who have had this done there. i have an idea to walk in there one evening and take it back to give it to someone else to do, he's just too busy i guess. there is a fellow on this site "gunpro", he is a gunsmith in Erickson , Mb, send him a pm.there is also another fellow who's name i got from Gene a few years ago and he'd be happy to do it i bet . his name is Wayne Singell i think 853-2006 or 471-7569 i think he lives around Dugald. you can go to the Firearms Canada site and look up gun dealers from across the country, some are gunsmiths.
