So I havent machined anything for myself in awhile now. Well this week the boss is gone and a co-worker decided he was going to scrap something. Well his scraped part just happend to get turned into a scope mount. I had be throwing the idea of putting a cheap scope on an SKS for a while, but wasnt happy with the reciever cover elchepo mounts. So here it is, still takes stripper clips, mounts to the side of the reciever and the bolt will still come out with it on. I plan on windowing the side and removing more around the rings some. Then time to black oxide it and shoot it somemore:rockOn:

thats cool. how hard would it be to make weaver rail instead of having the 1 piece mount? I am asking because im going to be taking tool and die in college soon

I was going to machine a rail, but couldnt find a cutter:rolleyes: Drives me nuts a work, people can't put stuff away but they can sure take it out. Its not how hard it is, its how much time do you want to spend. Its an sks so i didnt want to spend that much time.
