Stick half of your guns barrel down with the bolt open on the ones butt down. They will nestle better.
Just make sure the cabinet floor is soft.

This works very well! For long term storage though. I think I have about 23 rifles in a 14 gun cabinet doing this. Risky for safe kisses when taking them out and putting them back though! TOTAL pain in the ass if you need to get at any of the ones at the back though!! Gun room is the way to go, especially if you can hide the entrance too! In the mean time, you can make room in there by removing you bolt guns and taking the bolts out of them. Lock the bolts back up in the safe and you can store the rifles anywhere. Hidden is best...

I use rifle rods double the storage but am getting a large double case for my long range large scoped twins will free up room for at least 3 more non scoped. Short term I know. Everyone really needs a gun room or at least a walk in gun closet

Build a "tornado shelter" in the basement to protect the wife and kids from Global Warming. Fill said shelter with "essentials". Biggest cost is a commercial steel door/frame ($500)

Buy more cabinets, sneak them in when the wife is away (pay for a "girls weekend"), fill ythem with guns, repeat until credit card is full.

Hilarious...this actually what I have been doing for years. I am now up to four cabinets full.

Both cabinets are over the limit more than 10 in each. Any way to store rifles besides in a safe or locked cabinet?

Loaded with red rifles and a few nazis and a few allied rifles.

Filled 3 cabinets, for a time I was having some under my wife bed.
