Guys
I've always mounted my scopes the "classical/standard" way with the rings bracketing the adjusting turrets.
How many of you have installed scopes where both rings are fore of aft of the turrets?
Any long term issues?
I have a rifle with excellent fixed sights, which I'd like to keep. I can add a scope with a low mount, not require a cheek piece, and have ideal eye relief - BUT it will require that both rings are located behind the turrets.
Any comments will be appreciated.
