Bought a 1911 GSG Tactical (yes I am a mall ninja) :)

To say I am happy with the GSG would be an understatement. I shot 200 or so rounds with a mix of Winchester 555s, Dynapoints, CCI Tactical, and American Eagle. Not one malfunction. Very impressed with the whole package. Well worth it. .

This target was single handed at 20m.

For me that is much better than I have ever done at Bullesye using the Glock and the .22 conversion.

Here is my experience.

Currently over 8k rounds

Only cleaning it has seen is a bore snake

The plastic washer buffer thingy disintegrated eons ago

Rarely a jam or fte..

Love it. shoot the hell out of it!

Great gun, no jams, shoots any ammo right from new. I don't work for gsg, and am not being paid by them, but damn! It sure impressed me for a reasonable priced cool looking .22 semi

I have one and despite some issues I have had, I still love it. I had a tone of feeding problems but I managed to work them out but I still have quite a few light primer strikes. It is fun to shoot and I am tempted to buy another just so my wife and son can shoot with me. They both love the GSG.

Have you had it for a long time? I heard they had to modify the earlier ones. The reviews on the current ones say they feed all different kinds of .22 ammo. My first session proved that on mine but time will tell. That was only 200 rounds though.

Love mine. Added a stainless rod not because it failed but because I had heard it might. Custom made one so no big deal. I love it just as it is. Got offered some free grips to make it look better? LOL I like the grips and the way it looks just fine. Wish it didn't have that writing but that's fixable. Overall its the one I take out of the gun safe the most. Cheap to shoot. Fun to shoot. Accurate. Good Price. What's not to like! : )

Just bought one today cant wait to take it to the range !! any one know the cheapest place to buy extra mags??

I picked my extra mags up at Williams's Arms for $24. I don't think they get any cheaper than that. They had a lot left on the shelf last week. Shot this thing again. What a tank for a .22. Still haven't had an issue. Unless someone buys a lemon there is really nothing to complain about with this gun. To expect more from it I would expect to have to pay more. Great job by GSG.
