Bought a ATA Mirage.

I bought a ATA Mirage shotgun. It's a Turkish made semi has a synthetic stock camo. Been hunting with it twice. So far I really like it. Was not a lot of money.

Yeah, It's the same gun (more or less) as an SA-08. One of the better autoloaders made today.

I bought the same ATA CY Mirage MAX 4. mine came with one gas piston with no marking on it. did yours come with one piston as well?

Yes mine only came with the one piston.

What loads you used? did you use any heavy load over 1 1/4?

When I first tried it I used a mix of 2 3/4 inch shells and some 3 inch steel bb. It didn't like the cheap Winchester 2 3/4 inch shells from Walmart. It fired them though. When I went goose hunting I used Kent shells in bb. Not sure if they were over 1 1/4. No jams or anything. The gun worked well. It was cleaner to clean than my browning gold. With those gas ports it has out the side I think help.

Yes mine only came with the one piston.

Reviving an old thread here but I just bought a mirage and it came with two pistons. The one with no markings and the gasket ring is the light load piston. There was a second that came with no gasket and marked heavy load
