I spent way more than I had planned but ended up buying a Savage model 12BTCSS in 223. I was wondering if anyone had one of these and could tell me what kind of accuracy I can expect with it? According to what I've read I should get 1 moa or better with it. Is that somthing I can expect or is that hoping for too much? If nothing else it sure is pretty....I guess I would like to have the best of both worlds though pretty and accurate.:dancingbanana:

Here is a picture, I put a bushnell 4200 2.5-10 x 40 on it until I can afford a different scope.

accuracy......you will be happy if it shoots as good as mine. UNDER 2 inches at 300 meters (1.5" on a good day)!!. Hand load. CCI SR benchrest primers, 25.8 gr Varget, 69 gr Sierra matchking bullet, Winchester brass. Savage makes good rifles IMO. Let us know how you do. 52 gr A-max bullets are good as well (27 gr Varget) but are more fussy in a crosswind.
