Bow hunting for grouse? Wow, sounds like fun. Grouse hunting with a bow never even came to mind. Always grab one of the trusty 12 gauges. Too bad I'm in Ontario, and not in BC or I would have joined you in a flash!!!

I used to hunt grouse and rabbits with a bow and it's lots of fun. I found it was fairly hard for quite a while, and then I suddenly got a knack for it and started knocking over birds pretty well.

I had just gotten back from the weekend I got my first grouse with a bow when I first signed up for CGN, hence the name! I'd be up for it, but just now it's sorta the same problem as swealmeister
Might be a stipid question, but your arrow has a broadhead that is similar to what I use on large game, Muzzy 100 grain. Is that what you use for small game? I've never used the bow for small game, and I'm sure broadhead type and size makes a difference.

I used basic field points for rabbit, and large black rubber tips for grouse.
