Friend of mine passed away last summer, recently his widow asked me to sell off a few things for her. Included in that was this box of helmets. Admittedly militaria is not my strong point so I figured I would lean on the good folks here. Just looking for ID and a rough price range on what to ask for them.
#1
Pretty sure this is an US helmet, looks like something out of Full Metal Jacket.
#2
I have no idea what this one is. Has English writing inside on the liner.
#3
Pretty sure these are Russian, other than that no idea.
#4
French maybe? Stamped 1981 inside.
#5
No idea on this one, has some writing stamped on the straps inside but I cant make out what it says.
#6
Not sure on this one either, french perhaps?
#7
I think this one is the same as #1 just without the camo cover.
#8
Pretty sure this is a brit WWII helmet, dated 1942 inside and looks like size 7 1/4.
#9
Same as #8, just without the yarn and 1941 dated and size 7.
#10
Pretty sure this is a repro as it looks German and looks far too new. No markings that i could find.
#11
No idea on this one, looks eastern European. Liners looks kinda crappy, cushioning looks like a dish sponge.
#12
Not a helmet, I'm guessing East German. not sure if repro or original.
