Has anyone ever ordered one of these? I just ordered a buttstock and forearm for my 870 and am wondering if the stock comes with th etwo screws to install it or if I have to use the ones that came stock with the 870? Other aftermarket stocks have come with the two long screws included but Boyd's does not specify....

The American Plainsman stock / forearm combo I got from them had a Pachmayr Decelerator pad installed, with new screws. Nicer than most laminates I have seen, and a good fit. Installation, as usual, will be easier if you have a proper forearm nut spanner tool, tho.
Awesome... thanks... that is the one I ordered, in forest camo.... I built my own forearm wrench from a piece of steel pipe...lol... didn;t hav ethe patience to wait for the spanner to arrive if I ordered it... this will be my 870'2 3rd stock set... it's a '92 model express that has been rained on, dropped underwater, snowed on and carried for hours on end... the original wood stock went south a few years ago and the two synthetics I have had did not make me happy... hoping this is the answer...
