i was out yesterday with a lady friend. i missed a giant doe early in the day, and she shot her first deer, a nice yearling, mid afternoon. i went into the bush to drag it out, and off course as i'm standing over it another huge doe and smaller yearling come walking right within 5 yards of me totally unconcerned, and my gun is a hundred yards away....

I have been out a couple of times, and have seen lots. The first morning a big deer came within 75 yards, but it was too early [dark] to see very well. I sat the other evening and seen 5 smaller does, and they all had twins in tow. I also spooked 3 nice bucks but couldn't get a good shot through the trees. My back is seizing up, so am going to have to take it cool for a couple of days. Good luck to all.
