BP vx Pyrodex in Cartridge guns?

I am curious, now that I got a 50-70, if I were to load Pyrodex in a cartridge would there be any risk of hang fires in high humidity situations like I get when running Pyrodex in a side lock gun?

This 50-70 is original, so probably going to stick with true black powder in the case but the idea of Pyrodex came to mind.

I'm using 777 in a martini in 577/450 and a couple of snider's in 577. Bonus is they're super easy to clean as 777 washes with water and doesn't rust nearly as fast as pyrodex. my experience is that pyrodex specifically is one of the most corrosive powder types i've worked with and i stopped using it for that reason.

Oh I hate Pyrodex for that, but my concern with 777 was that it is not the same for pressure spikes and it worried me in an antique.

I use FFFg in an antique 44 handgun and true BP in a 58 rifled musket, but have to consider Pyrodex as an option if and when we run out of BP.
