Bps hunter browning canada 50th anniversary

After much debate, research, and recommendations here on gun nutz, I decided to go with the Browning BPS over the Remington. Now, I could not
find a "Hunter" 12ga, 28" barrel. But what I did find is the BPS 50th Anniversary edition. Seeing it is a gift to my son, (his first) I said what the
heck. 28" VR BBL, INVECTOR-PLUS CHOKES (3), POLISHED BLUED FINISH WITH GOLD ACCENTS: RED MAPLE LEAF ON RECEIVER WITH "50TH ANNIVERSARY"/ "ONE OF ONE HUNDRED" ON BARREL, GLOSS FINISHED WALNUT PISTOL GRIP STOCK, RECOIL PAD.

My question is....."one of one hundred" on the barrel......what does this stand for or mean??

yes, the one in one hundred means only 100 of these models were produced

Very nice brisko!!! I've got a BPS myself as a skeet gun when I feel up to it. Very smooth action. 1 of 100? Wish I had one of those!!!
