I've come into possession of a 6mmbr rifle based on a Sako L579
single shot action,with a Canjar set trigger and a Schneider heavy barrel.
The hardwood stock on it is alright,but it is a Monte Carlo style,and I am a Lefty.
I'm considering having a good smith turn the stock into a classic style,if that's possible..
I'm also considering buying a new stock and having a smith do the work.
The rifle will be for informal BR shooting only.
Any suggestions?
I guess my main concern is not breaking the bank,in restocking this puppy.
