Ok so I bought this brand new blued hi power. really nice 75th anniversary 9mm. Like all hi powers it has a beast of a trigger pull. So I do my research and pull out the mag disconnect. This smoothed the pull out a lot but still pretty heavy on the pull. So I break down the pistol. sat on the couch for about a half hour cocking the hammer and releasing the seer. I didn't do any polishing of the sear and hammer. that'd be a little beyond my skill. Just basically rubbed the seer and hammer together as they would normally when firing. reassembled my Hi Power and tada had a really nice 3 to 4 pound smooth trigger pull with a crisp break. had it out to the range a few times probably shot 700 rounds through it. life was good! Took it to the range last week and immediately after each round fired the hammer follows the slide back to the half #### position. Nuts! Even unloaded if you hit the slide release it still comes back to half ####. If you let the slide go forward slowly with your hand it will stay full ####. almost seems like the forward jar of the slide knocks it to half #### position. Any Advise from Hi power smiths or pros out there?
