Hello gunnutz!
My name is Adam and I am brand new to this board as well as the sport. My best friend koko83 just recently took me out trap shooting for the first time on Sunday April 3rd at the Bridgeport Gun Club in Waterloo. I was accepted right away by Jim and the other members and had a great time. I had never even held a gun before until that day and it really has changed me. I am currently finishing school at the end of April and eventually will be looking for a gun of my own. I still need to get licensed and such, but I might be a while from that as well.
I hope to learn a lot from all you people on this board and I really do want to continue what I've started with trap shooting as I found it very exhilarating! I was using Jim's Beretta AL 391 Urika semi auto for my first time, and I really loved the feel of it. Regardless of never holding a gun before, it felt awesome and I was able to hit multiple targets. If anyone has recommendations for starter semi autos that would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to talking to you all!
