brass cased 308 ammo?

Of course it's out there. It's just harder to find, often out of stock, and expensive.
I've seen lots of 500rnds of American Eagle (Federal) 308 as well as XM80 7.62NATO by Federal/Lake City by the 500rnd box once in a while but they usually get snatched up pretty quick. You should also expect at least $.75 to $.90 per round. As yomamma said there is also S&B around by the case and sometimes also Prvi Partisan. The bulk quantities are usually quite limited in availability and in high demand so they sell quick. It's part of the reason I started reloading.

That's a very wise decision.... You'll still be around the $0.50 a bang + range but at least you'll have consistent ammo...
I found some SA battle packs a week ago but it's berdan primed buuuut it shoots good thru my M14 and RFB...

The S&B 150gr soft point and FMJ is available here and there but it's a lot more than reloads.
